For a long time men have tried to find a universal language that would allow them to communicate overcoming linguistic differences. The efforts made, unfortunately, did not give good results and Esperanto, which should have replaced the languages of each country, was not very successful. But in reality a universal language exists: and it is that of the soul, which communicates through emotions and feelings in the same way throughout the globe.
Passions emotionally color existence and are experienced as an overwhelming experience. Ancient Greece had not only recognized their importance, but had also made them the protagonists of epic poems and tragedies. Anger, love, hatred, fear, desire are among the great passions that dominate Achilles, Oedipus, Medea and the other heroes sung by Homer, the tragic and Greek lyricists. They are ambivalent motions of the psyche, but living them – and even more so to observe them on stage- favors the knowledge of the most hidden spheres of the mind.
With the exhibition “Colors of the soul”, the “Galleria360” gives life to an exhibition that, through color, offers a fascinating exploratory journey inside the soul, or in that jungle of emotions that distinguishes human existence. An exhibition therefore where the color becomes a real emotional language as well as expressive, revealing different moods and personal memories of the artists.
“Colors of the soul” is an exhibition where the chromatic combinations are constantly intertwined with affective and daily experience, becoming a direct and tangible expression of the most intimate experiences of the ego and the spirit; an exhibition where the spirituality of light is constantly combined with the explosive rhythm of contrasts and coloristic harmonies.
In compliance with the regulations imposed by the current health emergency, the inauguration will take place behind closed doors and will be visible live on Instagram on Thursday 1st of July 2021 at 6,30 pm.
