“The creative process is a cocktail of instinct, skills, culture and feverish inventiveness.”
The current artistic panorama is undoubtedly extremely varied, rich with multiple forms of art and diverse language combinations. However, among these different artistic dialects, it is possible to detect a common language, a sort of universal koiné, a value that unites the diverse artistic experiences. In fact art, in all its forms and manifestations, is the highest expression of human creativity, so we can track down this absolute and essential tenet in the creative impulse of the artist. The process of creative reworking is the true engine of all: thanks to it, the artist is able to capture the appearance of reality, as to visualize the unreality, or manages to give outward form to his inner impulse. “I’m done of all that I have seen” Henri Matisse said; this statement synthesizes very well the French painter’s artistic course, but at the same time it also becomes a paradigmatic expression of the existential condition of every artist, namely of that the ability to observation out of the ordinary, of that availability towards a cultural syncretism and therefore an openness to the contamination of cultures and languages.
“Languages of art” is therefore an exhibition that offers the opportunity to observe a variety of addresses and styles, originated from the inexhaustible reservoir of creativity and sensitivity of international artists. But it is also an exhibition that guides us inside those creative processes that gave rise to the various artworks. In the Galleria360’s exhibition rooms, now through the expressive power of color, now through the eloquence of gestural simplicity, as well as through the different techniques, materials and resources, it will be possible to reconstruct the steps of the fascinating journey that, thanks to the creative impulse, leads each artist to translate a deep inward movement in visual language.
