Patricia Queiruga was born in Cordoba, Argentina, in 1970 and since she was little she demonstrated an art inclination. Her art training began during childhood when she started to learn about artistic styles and different techniques. Later she graduates in medicine at Cordoba’s National University, later specializing in surgery and working as a medical surgeon. She depicts mainly abstract and realistic paintings, each one done by oil, that she leaves in her family house; in 2014 she attends seminars with already established artists in Buenos Aires and she studies composition, appreciating abstract expressionism, neoexpressionism and cubism .

In May 2016 she participates for the first time in a painting contest, winning a prize at the Salón de Otoño, Galería de Buenos Aires. In July of the same year she participates in a second contest organized in occasion of the bicentenary of Argentine Independence where she obtains for two of her paintings another prize and also a special mention for being an exceptional artist given by a jury recognized in the art world: art. Gustavo Madueño, art. Sara Moya Kozlowski, art. Mercedes Linares, art. Ma Teresa Bedzent. Afterwards, thanks to a contest invitation she is able to get in contact with a New York Gallery; she shows her portfolio and she gets called to partecipate in an exhibition. This is her first international exhibition, which embodied the opportunity to dedicate herself completely to art, calling herself “Patricia Queiruga Artworker” (term that represents her and with which she feels free).

International exhibitions and activities: April 2017 exhibition at Agora Gallery, New York. – June 2017 exhibition at Art Fair Málaga, Spain. – October 2017 exhibition at International Art Fair, Shanghai, China. – November 2017 her work is published in “Argentine artists 20 years” by institutional editions and with art critiques by JULIO SAPOLLNIK. – January 2018 Exhibition at Art Imperale, Punta del Este Uruguay (where people of the fashion industry and the show business find there place). – February 2018, her artwork is published in “Important World Artist3”, presented at the Museum of Contemporary art in LAS VEGAS, Nevada USA. – April 2018 participation at the New York Art Fair. – June 2018 exhibition at the Borges Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires Argentina, where the curator is Julio Sapollnik and she presents her TANGO series. – June 2018 exhibition at the museum CHE GUEVARA, Alta Gracia Córdoba – Argentina in occasion of the recurrence of his birth. – September 2018 she is chosen between 5 artist to represent Spanish-American culture in New York, USA. – October 2018 exhibition at the Agora Gallery in New York. – November 2018 published in Artspectrum, New York magazine. – November 2018 she presents at the Museum Manuel de Falla her complete work “Alta Gracia al Mundo”, in tribute to the composer Manuel de Falla, that spent his last years in Alta Gracia, in occasion of the recurrence of his birth. – December 2018 partecipation at Miami Art Fair with Agora Gallery. – March 2019 exhibition at Galleria360 in Florence, Italy. – March 2019 interviewed the nephew of Manuel de Falla, Mrs. Elena de Paredes, that in occasion of a trip in Alta Gracia, takes one of the artworks of the “Alta Gracia al Mundo” collection to include it in the permanent collection of the Foundation Manuel de Falla in Granada, Spain.
Currently she lives and works in Alta Gracia in Córdoba, Argentina.
