Noémi Vészabó created a unique world: dream and reality, old and realism appear simultaneously in her works.
She has organized fifty-five solo exhibitions of her work over the past 30 years. Invited to the Florence Biennale in 2021, she was chosen as one of the 80 best artists in the world by them, in the opinion of the Florence jury.
Vészabó’s works can be found in the lobby of theaters, libraries, galleries, public and private collections. A twenty-square-foot painting can be seen in the foyer of the RAM Colosseum, forming two steles in the chapel of Sényei. The life-size painting of St. Stephen can be seen in the Dorottya Palace. He designs uniquely tuned collections for the Hollóház Porcelain Factory, bringing red-black-gold, blue and green illusions to porcelain, which are “Hungaricums”.
Noémi Vészabó is a member of MANK, the Hungarian Creative Association and the Hungarian Writers’ Association. Her seventh novel will be published during the festive book week.
All of Vészabó’s paintings are a search for beauty, mysticism, philosophy.
It evokes classic antiquity in today’s voice, that preserves classical values. It proclaims the idea of beauty, with individual Mannerist dream that look back on thousands of years of history, yet attract, the viewer-reader in today’s voice. She professes to be “realistic because she believes in miracles”!
