The Year Concludes at Galleria360 in Florence with the Exhibition “Xmas-How”: Featuring Works by Midori McCabe, Jana Kreft, Michele Guillot, and D.W.Whitfield

Florence, November 26, 2024 – Galleria 360 in Florence is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition dedicated to contemporary artists Midori McCabe, Jana Kreft, Michèle Guillot, and D.W. Whitfield, which will be held on December 6, 2024, at 7:30 PM. This exhibition represents a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the works of four artists who, despite their distinct styles, share a profound artistic sensitivity and an ability to convey emotions through their creations.

Midori McCabe is a Japanese artist known for her works that combine traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern influences. Her art is characterized by a delicate interaction between natural forms and abstract elements, creating a visual dialogue that invites the viewer to reflect on the ephemeral beauty of nature and the interconnectedness between humans and the environment. Her mixed techniques, which include the use of inks, watercolors, and natural materials, bring to life compositions that evoke serenity and introspection.

Jana Kreft, on the other hand, is a German artist whose work stands out for its bold exploration of colors and forms. With a background that spans painting and sculpture, Kreft continually experiments with new media, creating vibrant and dynamic works that challenge traditional artistic conventions. Her creations are a kaleidoscope of emotions, capable of capturing the energy of the moment and transporting the viewer on a unique sensory journey.

Michèle Guillot is a French artist known for his ability to combine traditional and contemporary techniques. His works, ranging from painting to graphics, explore existential and social themes, with an approach that blends realism and abstraction. Guillot creates powerful images that stimulate reflection and dialogue.

D.W.Whitfield is a British artist specializing in sculpture and installations. His work focuses on themes of identity, memory, and perception, using various and innovative materials to create pieces that are both physically imposing and conceptually profound. Whitfield invites viewers to interact with his creations, offering an immersive and engaging artistic experience.

Michèle Vert-Nibet is a French artist renowned for her ability to blend elements of realism and abstraction in her works. With a profound sensitivity to social and environmental themes, Vert-Nibet employs a variety of painting and graphic techniques to create powerful images that stimulate reflection. Her works are characterized by strong emotions and a refined aesthetic that invites the audience to engage in an inner dialogue.

The exhibition, curated by Angela Fagu, aims to highlight the contrast and complementarity between the works of the five artists, who come from different cultural and artistic backgrounds but manage to communicate through their artworks, creating a visual bridge that unites East and West, tradition and innovation.

The opening night will feature art critic and historian Daniele Franchi, who will present the works in the gallery and share with the audience the stories and inspirations behind them.

It will be a valuable opportunity to meet and discover firsthand the creative process that brings these contemporary works to life. The event will also include appetizer and a live musical performance, contributing to a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere. Galleria 360 reaffirms itself as a place of cultural exchange and interaction, where contemporary art finds an ideal stage to express itself and engage with the public.

The exhibition will be open to the public until December 31, 2024, with free admission.
