After the summer break, Galleria360 reopens its exhibition rooms to offer its visitors a pleasant evening of art, music and new aesthetic emotions.
On Thursday 8th September 2022 at 7.30 pm in via Borgo Ognissanti 77r, Florence, Galleria360 awaits you for an unmissable contemporary art event with the collective exhibition “Rhythms of emotions”. During the vernissage Jazz musicians will play live. In compliance with the pandemic regulations, access to the gallery is allowed only to visitors with masks.
Walking through the streets of Pisa, in the area between the two bus and railway stations, you come across a large, colorful and absolutely unmistakable mural that adorns the entire wall of Sant’Antonio Church; it is the last public artwork of the well-known American artist Keith Haring. The last, before leaving this life too soon due to the young man’s premature death from AIDS. “Tuttomondo”, this is the title of the artwork, is a hymn to life and happiness, peace and harmony that could govern the entire universe if only one lived in communion of souls. Thirty figures linked together and identified by a black contour line, portray different aspects of the world in peace: the men in the shape of scissors, for example, represent the collaboration between men to defeat the snake, that is, evil, ready to eat the head of the next figure; the little man holding a heart in his hand expresses the equality between all the cultures of the world, while the woman holding the child refers to the concept of motherhood. The two men holding the dolphin, on the other hand, recall the relationship with nature. The whole composition lives on rhythm; the figures seem to move on the notes of invisible music, the expression of an ancestral feeling.
Even the artists of the contemporary art exhibition “Rhythms of emotions” are in tune with the pulsating and deepest soul of the universe; abandoning language codes or pre-established models, these artists turn their attention to the “feeling” of that inner music, of those harmonic and sound vibrations of life, which through art become visible in the emotional impact they arouse. An artistic exhibition, therefore, where art, guided by the rhythm of emotions, penetrates the invisible movements that govern the soul and the world.
