We are souls sensitive to change, to what surrounds them and to its constant change. We live in a world that runs fast, where the single individual places himself at the center of a universe that often forgets about the other. But despite this unbridled individualism we are social animals, creatures that passively or actively absorb what is beautiful and ugly around us together with loved ones, acquaintances, strangers with whom our lives intersect.
We carelessly go through and live moments whose value we realize only afterwards. Often a small object, a scent, a melody, become our way to be able to go back and live them again, enclosing within them a world that sometimes exists only for us.
And how many times does it happen that we get lost in that world that is only ours, which we jealously treasure, or which maybe we look for, in order to experience those sensations when we feel that we’re losing contact with ourselves?
The artist proposes those worlds to us in his expressive forms, capturing them through the camera while they are observed with a lens which is the extension of his observer’s eye, in a brushstroke of color and emotions which is the direct contact between the more intimate inner part and the outer world.
Galleria360 has selected works for the new artistic exhibition “Lost in art” that have the strength to lead us to those worlds where the artists get lost and find themself during their creation, allowing us to be able to know them and in some way make them our too.
The “Lost in Art” exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday 7 October 2021 at 7.30 pm in via Borgo Ognissanti 77r, Florence. During the vernissage Jazz musicians will play live. In compliance with pandemic regulations, access to the gallery is allowed only to visitors with masks.
